Adoption of the Constitution of India (Constitution Day / Samvidhan Diwas)

On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly completed its two-year, eleven-month effort and adopted the Constitution of India. 26 November is observed annually as Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas).
